Right now, before we arrive

  1. Shut the water off

Main valve is usually where the water line enters the house: crawlspace entry, garage wall, utility room or near the water heater. Turn it clockwise. If it will not turn, shut off at the meter with a meter key or a pair of pliers on the lug.

  2. Kill power to a flooded water heater

Electric heater: flip its breaker. Gas: turn the control knob to OFF and close the gas valve on the yellow flex line. Do not drain a gas heater with the burner on.

  3. Stop using drains if sewage is backing up

Every flush and load of laundry adds to what is coming up through the lowest drain. Stop, then call.

  4. Call us, then move what you can

Call (360) 812-1124. While you wait, get rugs, boxes and electronics off wet floors and open cabinet doors under leaking sinks.

What counts as an emergency

Water you cannot stop, sewage coming up, no water to the house, a gas smell near a water heater, or a leak into a ceiling or electrical. Those get the first available plumber, including after hours. A slow drain, a dripping faucet or a toilet that runs can usually wait for a regular morning slot, and we will tell you that on the phone so you are not paying an after-hours rate for a daytime problem.

What we show up with

The service truck carries water heater parts, ball valves, PEX and copper fittings, drain machines, a camera and the pumps and switches that fail at night. Burst pipes get repaired, not just capped, whenever the wall or crawlspace allows. If the damage is beyond the plumbing, we point you to restoration companies we have seen do good work and help with the documentation your insurer will want.

Common questions

Are you available 24/7?

We answer emergency calls evenings, weekends and after hours, and our reviews include middle-of-the-night and holiday jobs. We do not guarantee a response at any hour, because sometimes every plumber we have is already on a job. What we guarantee is a real answer about when we can be there.

What should I do while I wait for the plumber?

Shut off the water at the main or at the fixture, open a low faucet to drain pressure, move belongings out of the wet area, and stop using drains if sewage is backing up. We will walk you through all of it on the phone.

Is there an extra charge for after-hours calls?

Yes, there is an after-hours rate, and we tell you what it is on the phone before anyone is dispatched. The repair itself is still a flat price approved before work starts.

Can you replace a water heater on a weekend?

Usually. We stock common tank sizes and have done weekend replacements for many customers. If the exact unit you need is not on the truck, we can often get you temporary hot water and finish the next business day.

My pipes are frozen but have not burst. Is that an emergency?

It is an emergency waiting to happen. Shut off the main, open faucets, and call us. We can thaw lines safely and inspect for splits before the water goes back on, which is far better than discovering the split at three in the morning.

Do you handle sewage backups at night?

Yes. Main line backups are one of the most common after-hours calls we get. The service truck carries the cable machines to open the line, and the camera and jetter are available if the line needs more.

We had a major blowout of a water pipe above our garage and thankfully we were home and were able to shut down the main water valve. The rupture in the pipe was very large so there was extensive damage to the garage ceiling and cabinets. Tried 6 other plumbing companies and they all said no or I…

We had a burst pipe in our home a few weeks back and Greg was there within 20 minutes of the pipe bursting. Between the tears on my wife's face and my own, greg helped us not only re-supply water to our home after a quick fix. He also spent time talking us through insurance and the crews to start…

Greg was excellent to work with! He responded to schedule within a couple of hours of me reaching out over the weekend and he had me on the schedule right away. His quotes were reasonable and he started with small fixes before having to do more in depth repair. Piping ended up needing to be dug up…

We had a garage sink flood Panic on a Sunday that shut down our home. I tried my best to fix it myself but it was way beyond my capabilities and equipment. We called and they came really quickly and cleared the initial backup so that life could resume and then they returned three days later to…
